It's FEBRUARY, and with an impossible-to-properly-pronounce-month, comes yet another special guest... TEAM CON-DOC! Come see them and be filled with glee and... Merriment... Yea. While we're at it, PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT OUR SCHEDULE! With quite a lot of soda in hand, our handy-dandy PDF schedule table at the top of the page is now updated. Soon to come, panel descriptions! If you can't print it, don't worry; our schedules will be posted at all convention doors, and in our programs. Cheers!
After quite a bit of figuring, our schedule is finally up. This year, instead of finding all descriptions on the website, you'll find them here in our programs, which you can pick up at the door. Go to the Schedule page, where you can download a printer-friendly PDF of our three-day schedule. Enjoy!
We now would like to welcome Cara McGee as a guest to our humble convention. Also, take a look at our Events page. Next up, Schedule! We'll keep you posted on when that's all finished.
Well, no big changes this time, but just keep in mind that we're having a few switch-arounds with our vendor lists. By extention, we'll be switching things around for our events and schedule page as we go and get everything set up. It's only fair to make everyone aware that changes will be happening, so keep in touch!
We have added two new guests! (Well, three.) We welcome Vic Mignogna, and the power-duo Comfort & Adam to Almacon 2013. We are stuffed to the rafters with guests! Aaand, enjoy!
As always, please don't be afraid of letting us know about any discrepancies in information and spehlingg. We'll make sure we take away all sharp and pointy objects from our webmaster before he replies to any emails.
So, as it turns out, when your web browser doesn't know you're writing xhtml code, and assumes an html5 identity, a picture of Eric Vale ends up on your next-door neighbor's monitor. Huh... Anyways, WEBSITE UPDAAATTEESSSSSSS! We now have guests and a venue and vendors and the about page is... Well... Still there. Yeah.
Well, the webmonkey struck again with another wave of re-works. Our Contact Us page is now fully functioning; the link is on the bottom-right half of the screen. We now have pages lined up for data as they come in. Go and play, children!
So, after an incredibly exhausting run of college exams, I finally gathered the free-time to work the rest of the site out! Information will be upgraded as we go, and we'll post when updates are made on the Almacon 2013 Facebook event!
For those of you who may be (are) complaining about the "mailto" command for prereg, I KNOW, IT'S TERRIBLE, but until I can get a functioning PHP form, this is the way we're stuck with. Just... Just... Just bare with me!
Tiffany Grant, Little Kuriboh, Chris Sabbat, Eric Vale, Kirbopher... Need we say more?
We are understandably very excited about this turn-out, and we hope you have similar tingly feelings! Please check in occasionally, as I'll continue building the website and making it look beautiful! As always, if you see any errors in the code, or any typing mistakes, please contact our Webmaster at gainforth1bj@alma.edu
Good news, everyone! I've weighed my own head! Also, the website is officially back up and ready to go! You'll notice, for now, pages will be down here and there as we continue to fill in information. For the time being, please bare with us, and I'll update both here and on the Facebook page as things become updated. Happy geeking!
In the meantime, check out our official Facebook page!
8:00pm, November 2nd, I received an email from the company who hosts our website with some unfortunate news: Some time yesterday, the company that owns all of the web servers was hacked, and their course of action was to wipe absolutely everything clean. Therefore, you'll notice that there is barely any website whatsoever. It's all been deleted. All the backups are gone too; the last backup is long before I began writing this site.
So I ask for all the coffee and chocolate I can get, as I burn the midnight oil, and write this sucker all over again. That way, when the company allows me back in, I can upload our site and get things going the way they once were.
In the meantime, check out our official Facebook page!
Thanks for your patience, and we'll see you soon!
